 THE ELIZABETH COLT LEGACY FOUNDATION

Founded in 2007, the Elizabeth Colt Legacy Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation. This means that any donation you give to the ECLF qualifies as tax deductible. The ECLF serves as a charitable foundation on behalf of the Colt Collectors Association by supporting causes and organizations which promote and encourage youth to participate in the following:

1) Firearms safety and training

2) Awareness of historical significance of firearms in the development of our countryand their heritage to continue this tradition

3) Youth firearms associations and clubs

The Foundation will also support grants and scholarships as the board of directors deem worthy.

The Elizabeth Colt Legacy Foundation (ECLF) is proud to announce that it has recently disbursed donations to the following:

Ft. Hayes State University Shooting Sports Club, Kansas

Pine High School Naval Jr. Reserve Officer’s Training Corps, Florida

Teller County 4-H Shooting Sports Club, Colorado

Montrose Jr. Rifle Program, Colorado

The 2010 30th Anniversary Colt Collectors Association Convention will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, September 30, October 1, 2 and 3.  A special Denise Thirion engraved Colt Single Action Army revolver has been donated by Lt. Gen. William Keys, USMC (RET), Colt Manufacturing Co. LLC CEO. A photo will be available of this fine Colt firearm will be available shortly. It will be raffled at the Annual All Colt Convention on Saturday evening.

The ECLF will announce further updates and disbursements in the Rampant Colt magazine and at the 2010 Colt Convention.

The above is a sterling silver pin with a sapphire jewel. The ECLF sells this pin for $100, plus $15 for insurance and shipping. The proceeds from the pin sales off-set the foundation’s expenses. Our goal is not to use any donated funds for adminstrative expenses. Our Secretary, Karen Green, has the pins and can be reached at cca@aol.com.
