7. January 1986, American Rifleman, 88 pages, with Colt’s 150th Anniversary gun on the cover. The gun was positioned to show both sides hence it looks like two crossed revolvers with an ivory medallion in the middle. This is the same photo Don used on the back of his 3rd generation book but on a white background. The magazine background is vivid red very dramatic. Colt article by R. L. Miscellaneous Items
1. Colt smooth ebony accessory sets will consist of (1) ebony handle cleaning rod, (2) ebony handle screwdrivers, (1) ebony handle brush, (1) ebony handle oil bottle, (1) ebony handle patch box. The sets were made in ebony, pearl, ivory and the rarest set is rosewood. They were made from 1978 - 1982. Original cost for the plain ebony set was $150. These were deluxe accessories for high grade Colt presentation revolvers. This is informational only, as I am out of the sets.

6. Colt heavy duty style ice scraper, approximately 10″ long, blue color and stamped with “Colt, The Legend Lives”. Colt, The Legend Lives was a short run advertising campaign and there is very limited memorabilia from this era.
