The factory letter states this revolver was shipped to Garden State Arms, Maple Shade, New Jersey on October 27, 1965 in a shipment of one.
Don Wilkerson sold this revolver to Dan Reber in 1993. Dan traded this gun back to Don in 2000. Don then sold the gun to another prominent collector, Craig Blancett in 2000. Dan later purchased this fine revolver back from Craig at an All Colt Show.
There are just over 1,100 revolvers in the above configuration. Add in attrition and condition and you have a very rare hard to find revolver.
