Factory Letter
The revolver has a light cylinder ring and light scratches. The backstrap is 100% and the barrel is 100%. There is freckling on top of the frame. Minor muzzle wear on left side of muzzle.

Black box includes brochure, warranty card, brush, wax paper and Handling the Handgun pamphlet. The hinge has been taped with black tape. Normal corner wear.
There were 10,591 revolvers shipped in black boxes in both nickel and blue and casehardened finishes. Of that number, only 6,506 were shipped with a 5 ½” barrel and blue and casehardened finish. The number may look high, but attrition makes this a very desirable revolver.
